Biography
I grew up in Wise, Virginia. I attended Virginia Tech for college and would have gladly spent another three years there if VT had a law school! Since they didn’t, I ventured south to the University of South Carolina. Following graduation, I returned to Virginia and spent a year clerking for the Roanoke City Circuit Court.
From 2007 through the summer of 2022, my practice was solely focused on the defense of lawsuits. I started practice with a large Roanoke law firm which is where I first met Lauren. In 2011, I moved to a smaller firm in Roanoke. I have over fifteen years of experience working with both large and small insurance carriers. I am eager to bring this defense perspective to First Truth Law and am excited to be working with Lauren.
Outside of my law practice, I enjoy spending time with my two sons and my husband. I especially enjoy volunteering within our community and am active with my children’s schools and with several local community organizations.
