Lisa has built her reputation over three decades by delivering results where it matters most. In Virginia state and federal courts, she has secured multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts for clients facing life-changing injuries. Her courtroom experience runs deep, from serving as first-chair counsel in jury trials to managing complex mass tort litigation involving hundreds of cases.
What sets Lisa apart is her strategic flexibility. Every case demands its own approach, and Lisa evaluates all pathways to resolution. Her training as a mediator certified by the Supreme Court of Virginia opens doors that pure adversarial approaches cannot. She is a certified mediator with specialized training from Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation.
Lisa practices throughout Southwest Virginia from her base in Charlottesville. She is admitted to practice in Virginia state courts, federal district courts, and the U.S Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
